The Deputy Manager of Resource Mobilization will play a critical role in driving the fundraising and
resource mobilization strategies of the organization. The incumbent will support the planning,
coordination, and execution of activities to secure funding and partnerships essential for achieving
the organization's mission. The Deputy Manager will work closely with internal teams, donors, and
external stakeholders to develop and maintain robust funding streams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's resource mobilization strategy.
Identify new funding opportunities, including grants, donations, and partnerships.
Analyse trends in the social sector to inform and optimize fundraising strategies.
Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and potential donors, including government agencies, NGOs, corporates, and individual donors.
Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and reports to engage donors and secure funding.
Continuously update and manage the development database of donors.
Ensure timely and effective communication with donors, providing regular updates and reports on project impact and outcomes.
Monitor the progress of resource mobilization activities and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Support the Manager/Head of Resource Mobilization in team management, including mentoring junior staff.
We are seeking a committed and experienced HR professional to lead and manage the Human Resources function at Ekta Shakti Foundation. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR operations, complete statutory compliance, and an engaged workforce. The incumbent will be responsible for guiding the HR team, overseeing all core HR processes, and ensuring accuracy, discipline, and integrity across all HR practices.
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
Lead and manage the HR department, ensuring efficient execution of recruitment, on boarding, payroll, statutory compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.
Supervise and mentor the HR team, ensuring accountability, adherence to deadlines, and consistency in deliverables.
Maintain 100% accuracy in HR records, statutory submissions (PF, ESIC, labour laws), and documentation for 1500+ employees.
Proactively identify process gaps or errors, correct them promptly, and implement sustainable solutions for a smooth and error-free HR function.
Take ownership of employee relations, grievance resolution, and fostering a professional and positive work environment.
Drive policy implementation, process enhancements, and compliance frameworks in collaboration with leadership
Act as the primary point of contact for audits, inspections, and statutory bodies, ensuring readiness and adherence at all times.

Dr. Satish Chandra
Dr. Satish Chandra is currently on the Advisory Board of Ekta Shakti Foundation. Dr. Chandra was a former Indian Government Public Servant. He worked with UNDP -Afghanistan, USAID, and Multilateral Supported -Programs on governance, policy, budget, institutional development, audit, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E), treasury, and investment management functions in India, the USA, and Afghanistan.
He has more than 30 years of international development experience, mostly in Afghanistan, and has worked in a range of public service areas for different public, not-for-profit and corporate sectors and led a team of a company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project for a US$50 billion organization. This included managing the restructuring of a business plan, oversight, and audit management for over 50 state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and there have been numerous high-level responsibilities that have honed his integrated public service competencies.
