Together We Can Make A Difference

Who We Are

Founded in 2003 by a group of 10 like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, Ekta Shakti Foundation (ESF) started its journey to improve the lives of women and children. Over the years, this not-for-profit organization has expanded its mission to support the holistic development of children, the differently-abled, youth, and women.

We began by providing mid-day meals to approximately 20,000 children in Delhi’s MCD schools. Today, we proudly serve nutritious meals to around 1 million children every day.

In 2005, Ekta Shakti Foundation launched the Radhika Skill Development Centre with a mission to empower women by providing them with vocational training and encouraging their active participation in the workforce. The center offers courses in tailoring, embroidery, and other income-generating skills, enabling women to become self-reliant and financially independent.

In 2006, the Foundation took another significant step by establishing the Brahmashakti Special School, a dedicated institution focused on addressing the unique educational and developmental needs of children with special abilities. Both initiatives reflect our commitment to inclusive growth, social equity, and community empowerment through education and skill-building.

Contributing to the national vision of a “Skilled India,” in 2018, ESF set up a state-of-the-art training center in Begusarai, Bihar, under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) in partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Through this initiative, 360 students from rural backgrounds received free skill training, earned recognized skill certificates, and were provided with placement assistance—opening doors to better career opportunities and brighter futures.

Our journey continues—with a strong commitment to creating opportunities, fostering inclusion, and driving positive change in communities across India.
