Mr. Aggarwal has been an integral part of Ekta Shakti Foundation since its inception and the strongest pillar of growth through the last 15 years of ESF’s journey. His initiatives and deep concern for various social issues have been the crucial driving force behind the very formation and development of the Ekta Shakti Foundation.

Dr. S. K. Nanda, IAS (Retd.)

A retired IAS officer has joined our Board of Advisors this year. Dr. S. K. Nanda is currently the Adviser to National Disaster Management Authority, Govt. of India, the National Chief Commissioner to Hindustan Scouts and Guides, India, an Adviser and Independent Director to Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. Govt. of India.

In his professional career spanning four decades, he served in numerous positions with the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat like Addl. Chief Secretary of Government of Gujarat; Chairman and Managing Director of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals; Chairman of GSFC University; Chairman of Mumbai Management and Research; Director of GSPC Gas Limited; Chairman of Gujarat AgroTech Ltd; Director of Bhavnagar Energy Company Limited; Director of Indian Potash Limited; Director of Tunisian Indian Fertilizers (TIFERET); Vice President of United Nations Global Compact Network, Western Region; Member of All India Management Council; Member of All India Management Association; Member of the Consultative Committee for Mid- term Appraisal at Planning Commission of Govt. of India.

He has received several awards such as Subhash Chandra Bose National Award, Mahadhan Award for Excellence in Crop Improvement and Productivity, Corporate Leadership Award for CSR, Environment Protection Award, the CEO Award 2015, National Golden Peacock Award, to name a few.

Sh. Alok Ranjan, IAS (Retd.)

Mr. Alok Ranjan is currently on the Board of Ekta Shakti Foundation. Mr. Ranjan is a retired I.A.S. officer with 38 years of distinguished service. He retired as the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh in 2016. Post-retirement, he held the office of Chief Advisor to Chief Minister of U.P (Cabinet Minister Rank) and Chairman UPSIDC (Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation), where he oversaw all development initiatives for the State of Uttar Pradesh. He is currently serving on several boards such as Bennett Coleman University, as Honorary Advisor to the Ph.D. Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as Chairman Indo-Latin Chamber of Commerce and multiple other organizations. He is also serving as Adjunct Professor for various leading universities.

An established leader, with extensive experience in management and administration across Industries and sectors including education, economics, finance, agriculture, industrial governance, public policy, and more. Some of the prominent positions held by him during service include Infrastructure and Industrial Commissioner U.P, Agriculture Production Commissioner U.P, Principal Secretary Urban Development & Technical Education, Joint Secretary Defence (Govt. of India), and Secretary to the Chief Minister of U.P amongst many others. He has also authored two books and writes articles for leading national publications such as Times of India, Economic Times, Business Standard, HT, and more.

Dr. Satish Chandra

Dr. Satish Chandra is currently on the Advisory Board of Ekta Shakti Foundation. Dr. Chandra was a former Indian Government Public Servant. He worked with UNDP -Afghanistan, USAID, and Multilateral Supported -Programs on governance, policy, budget, institutional development, audit, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E), treasury, and investment management functions in India, the USA, and Afghanistan.

He has more than 30 years of international development experience, mostly in Afghanistan, and has worked in a range of public service areas for different public, not-for-profit and corporate sectors and led a team of a company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project for a US$50 billion organization. This included managing the restructuring of a business plan, oversight, and audit management for over 50 state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and there have been numerous high-level responsibilities that have honed his integrated public service competencies.

Dr. TUBA TANVEER
PROGRAM MANAGER

Dr. Tuba Tanveer, a graduate in traditional system of medicine and post-graduate in Public Health, is currently working as a Program Manager for Health and Nutrition Programs.

She’s an advocate of Women & Child Healthcare and Nutrition. During her healthcare career, she has worked with various government and non-government organizations. She has successfully published multiple scientific research papers in numerous reputed national & international journals.

Her experience with organizations under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has evolved her into a successful professional Program Manager. She focuses on developing the program’s objectives and strategies in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

Er. PALLAVI KUMARI
MIS HEAD

Er. Pallavi Kumari, a graduate in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and MBA in Operation Management. A Management Information System (MIS) professional with over 7 years of working experience in government management and non-government projects in the domain of Livelihood and Skill Development.

Currently, she is heading the MIS section with Ekta Shakti Foundation. The captivating and exciting projects led her to dedicate her life to the sector of development. She is always intrigued by the progression of work and likes to explore her potential with every project. She is a refined stellar.

SHARIQ JAMAL
HEAD – BUSINESS DEVEL-OPMENT

A seasoned development professional with over 17 years of working experience across many cross-cutting thematic verticals in various capacities, is currently heading the Business Development vertical of Ekta Shakti Foundation and Brahmashakti Special School. 

An MBA in Rural Development from Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad, holds in-depth knowledge of Program Management, Partner Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Financial Management, Community Mobilization, Resource Mobilization, Capacity Building, Livelihoods and Micro Finance. During his career, he has worked with couple of National and International organisations in various capacities like Society for All Round Development, Volunteer Services Overseas (VSO, Kenya), Population Foundation of India and Fiinovation.

PUNEET AGGARWAL
DIRECTOR – OPERATIONS & PROCUREMENT

Dedicated and committed towards his work, he is a well experienced young blood in the organisation. He has been handling operations ad procurement for Ekta Shakti Foundation for 5 years now and has been effectively fulfilling all his responsibilities.

RISHABH GANGWAR
HEAD – SKILLS & ENVIRONMENT

Around 12+ years of Consulting & Management experience in Government and CSR Projects. Experience of working with three prestigious Ministries of GOI namely, MSDE (PMKK & PMKVY), MoEFCC (SFM) and MHA (Disaster Management) along with other consulting organizations including EY among the Big 4. Worked across various functionalities of PMU, R&D and M&E in domains of Environment Conservation, Sustainable Livelihoods, Skill Development, Sanitation, Education & likewise.

ANCHAL TYAGI
MANAGER - COMMUNICATIONS

Anchal Tyagi, an avid Creative Designing professional. She graduated with Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication which led to Design and Visualization. She has been working in the industry for the last 5 years with an exuberant knowledge of the creative world. She has explored the field from glittery corporate films and advertisements to subtle documentaries in news channels to a production house.

Presently, she works as a Manager-Communications where she handles the in-house multimedia projects such as creatives, films, documentaries all-in pre-production, production to post-production with communication, all across the board for various channels on both print and digital media.

Whether it's films, direction, or creative graphic designing, the dynamic world of creativity never fails to amaze her.

EKTA AGGARWAL
DIRECTOR – HR & ADMINISTRATION

Being the youngest among the lot it requires a lot of passion and enthusiasm to run and head a department. With around 3 years of experience, having a fresh approach and young mindset, she manages in connecting to people and motivate them on personal and professional front since the beginning of her career.

DR. ASHRAF JAMAL
PROJECT DIRECTOR- Andhra Pradesh

Three decades of experience working to improve the lives of children and eradicate hunger. Experience in handling schools under a mission that ‘No child shall be deprived of Education, because of hunger’, through NGO SWERA. He has supplied quality MDM in various schools Delhi, UP and Bihar. Worked as Project Director in REWARDS a reputed non-Government Organization in Bihar to run and execute the MDM supplying project in Bihar for 8 years.

Presently working as Project Director at Ekta Shakti Foundation since 2019. During these years have completed his assignments in Assam and now dedicatedly trying to make the ongoing MDM supplying project in Andhra Pradesh a grand success.

MANISH KUMAR MITTAL
PROJECT DIRECTOR - PATNA

One of the establishing employees at Ekta Shakti Foundation. He joined as a Chief coordinator in 2007 and his journey has seen all the progress and growth in the organisation over the years. Presently he directs the kitchen projects and finances in Patna.

VIKAS AGGARWAL
PROJECT DIRECTOR - PATNA

One of the establishing employees at Ekta Shakti Foundation. He joined as a Chief coordinator in 2007 and his journey has seen all the progress and growth in the organisation over the years. Presently he looks after the purchase operations and kitchen activities in Patna.

DEEPAK SHARMA
SENIOR MANAGER – ACCOUNTS AND OPERATIONS

One of the core team members from the very beginning of Ekta Shakti Foundation. He joined in the year 2004 and since then has been an integral part of the organisation. Presently the accounts and operations management are being successfully headed by Mr. Sharma.

SANGEETA KANOJIA
EXECUTIVE – HUMAN RESOURCE

Around 16 years of work experience in HR operation in various govt. and non-govt. organisations. Settled at Ekta Shakti Foundation as an Executive in HR operations for three years now and her major reasons why she chose a career in HR is the opportunity to influence innumerable aspects of the organization, to assist in the development of its employees, and to play a part in influencing strategic business decisions.
