RENEWAL OF WORK CONTRACTING WITH BIHAR GOVERNMENT ON THE BASIS OF SERVICE OF EXCELLENCE IN 2012

The Bihar Government appreciated the Mid-Day Meal Nutrition project and the services. This was complemented by a visit and appreciation from the World Health Organisation. This resulted in an extension of the services across five districts in Bihar.

ONE OF THE SELECTED ORGANISATION TO CATER MEALS DURING THE COMMON WEALTH GAMES HELD IN 2010, NEW DELHI

The organisation was awarded the responsibility of meals during the Commonwealth Games held in Delhi in 2010. The selection was based on high quality, service and hygiene standards. Approximately 40 thousand meals got served per day.

MID-DAY-MEAL NUTRITION PROJECT EXPANDED TO 5 DISTRICTS OF BIHAR WITH SUPPORT FROM THE BIHAR GOVERNMENT IN 2009

The pilot project got recognised by the government and services got scaled up to additional three districts. This enabled the project to cater to approximately Six lakh children in five districts of Bihar (Patna, Vaishali, Gaya, Nalanda and Begusarai).

SECOND CENTRALIZED SEMI-AUTOMATED KITCHEN UNIT IN DELHI IN 2008

Second semi-automated kitchen was established in Matiala Delhi, capacitated to serve more than 70 thousand children. This kitchen serves 48 government schools in Delhi.

INITIATED CAPACITY BUILDING AND TRAINING WORKSHOPS TO BUILD A SUSTAINABLE WORKFORCE IN THE STATE OF BIHAR IN 2007

Training and capacity building of about 500 work-force which included cooks, packaging staff, storage, maintenance staff and support staff. Menus and nutritional proportions were designed as per the given and required parameters with support from the government.

OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH BIHAR GOVERNMENT UNDER THE MID-DAY MEAL INITIATIVE IN 2006

The organisation got awarded to implement the Mid-Day Meal Nutrition initiative as a pilot project in two districts of Bihar i.e. Patna and Vaishali. The project caters to approximately 2.5 lakh children in the region.

STARTED WITH FIRST SEMI-AUTOMATED CENTRALISED KITCHENS

Catering to the requirements, the organisation inaugurated its first semi-automated kitchen unit in Matiala. This high-end unit is capacitated to serve approximately to serve more than one lakh fifty thousand children.

INITIATED THE MID-DAY MEAL SERVICES WITH SUPPORT FROM THE DELHI GOVERNMENT IN 2003

Reached out to 128 MCD schools and served mid-day meal to approximately 20 thousand children in Delhi with support from the Delhi Government.
