With the assistance of SBI Life Insurance in 2017 and 2018, we invested in newly developed instruments for the students of BrahmaShakti Special School. In 2018, we expanded our services in Andhra Pradesh through the Health & Nutrition Program.
In 2016 and 2017, we received financial aid from ONGC and SBI Life Insurance.
The Bihar Government appreciated the Mid-Day Meal Nutrition project and the services. This was complemented by a visit and appreciation from the World Health Organisation. This resulted in an extension of the services across five districts in Bihar.
The organisation was awarded the responsibility of meals during the Commonwealth Games held in Delhi in 2010. The selection was based on high quality, service and hygiene standards. Approximately 40 thousand meals got served per day.
The pilot project got recognised by the government and services got scaled up to additional three districts. This enabled the project to cater to approximately Six lakh children in five districts of Bihar (Patna, Vaishali, Gaya, Nalanda and Begusarai).
Inaugurated the second BrahmaShakti Special School centre in Dwarka, equipped with specialised services and trained staff. Second semi-automated kitchen was established in Matiala Delhi, capacitated to serve more than 70 thousand children. This kitchen serves 48 government schools in Delhi.
Training and capacity building of about 500 work-force which included cooks, packaging staff, storage, maintenance staff and support staff. Menus and nutritional proportions were designed as per the given and required parameters with support from the government.
- The organisation got awarded to implement the Mid-Day Meal Nutrition initiative as a pilot project in two districts of Bihar i.e. Patna and Vaishali. The project caters to approximately 2.5 lakh children in the region.
Initiated BrahmaShakti Special School in Matiala, Delhi, to cater to the needs of specially-abled children. The school is one of the first of its kind in Matiala, with trained staff offering high-end services.
Catering to the requirements, the organisation inaugurated its first semi-automated kitchen unit in Matiala. This high-end unit is capacitated to serve approximately to serve more than one lakh fifty thousand children. Radhika Skill Development Centre was initiated to train women and girls with the skills of tailoring, cutting, and embroidery for better employability. The course imparts training through 6 months and 12 months certification program and helps the beneficiary secure employment.
Reached out to 128 MCD schools and served mid-day meal to approximately 20 thousand children in Delhi with support from the Delhi Government.
