Ekta Shakti Foundation is a not for profit organization with its headquarters in New Delhi.

The organization was established in the year 2003 when group of 10 like minded people with different expertise came together to work for the welfare of women and children.

To combat hunger and malnutrition amongst children the organization started with a small kitchen providing mid day meal to 18000 children in MCD schools of South Delhi. In the year 2005 the organization established big kitchen under the PPP model in partnership with the state government and started providing meal to one lakh children.

In the year 2006 the organization extended its work in the state of Bihar where it established a centralized kitchen implementing mid day meal scheme in the two districts of Patna and Vaishali. Gradually the organization extended its work further to three more districts i.e. Begusarai, Nalanda and Gaya.

Today the organization operates two states of Delhi and Bihar and covers six lakh children under the Mid Day Meal Scheme.

Besides the organization started working with the children with special needs in the year 2006 when it established a small school with 20 children in Uttam Nagar. Gradually the strength of the students increased and today there are two branches of the school in Uttam Nagar and Dwarka.

The organization also started Radhika Silai and Kadhai Kendra in the same year to empower women and make them self-reliant.
